NBCU Domestic TV names Casino SVP cable/ancillary sales
Bruce Casino has been named senior vice president, cable and ancillary sales at NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution.
Casino, who is based in New York City, will continue handling off-network distribution of NBC Universal television programming and film to cable and broadcast networks.
Since May 2004, Casino has been vice president, cable and ancillary sales, NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution.
Prior to joining NBC Universal, Casino oversaw all cable and ancillary sales for Universal Domestic Television. He joined Universal Domestic Television predecessor Studios USA in December 1999, as vice president, cable and ancillary sales.
Previously, Casino was executive vice president and general sales manager of Unapix Syndication from its inception in October 1998.
For 10 years, Casino worked in various sales roles for Pearson/All-American Television, selling and marketing feature film packages and the syndicated series Baywatch, Family Feud, The Howard Stern Show, The Adventures of Sinbad and America's Top-10.
Casino has also held positions as a sales executive with Vestron Television, where he launched the company's syndication division; RKO Pictures, where he sold classic films and first-run documentaries to major market television stations; and Lexington Broadcast Services, where he began his career.
