The FCC has approved Media General’s sale of two small-market TV stations to Hoak Media for $60 million.
The deal includes WMBB, the ABC affiliate in Panama City, Fla. (DMA 154) and KALB, the NBC affiliatein Alexandria, La. (DMA 180).
KALB is also a CBS affiliate, broadcasting the network on one of its digital channels.

The stations are two of five that Media General said it would sell last fall to relieve some of the financial pressure it is under.
The company sold ABC affiliate WTVQ Lexington, Ky., to the Morris Network for $16.5 million and it is in the process of selling WCWJ, the CW affiliate in Jacksonville, Fla., and WNEG in Toccoa, Ga.
