YAGER ELECTED CHAIRMAN OF NAB TV BOARD
The NAB Television Board, meeting in Washington this week, elected Barrington Broadcasting CEO James Yager to succeed Post-Newsweek Stations CEO Alan Frank as chairman.

The NAB joint board, which represents both the radio and TV sides of the NAB, re-elected Jack Sander as its chairman. Sander is a senior advisor to Belo Corp.
At the radio board meeting, Steve Newberry, president and CEO of Commonwealth Broadcasting, was elected chairman. He’ll succeed Russ Withers, owner of Withers Broadcasting.
Charles Warfield, COO of ICBC Broadcast Holdings, was elected first vice chair. Caroline Beasley, EVP of Beasley Broadcast Group, was elected second vice chair.
