Ion Adds New Affiliate in Dayton
Ion Television today announced a station affiliation agreement with WRCX Dayton, Ohio, the nation's 62nd largest TV market, which represents approximately 511,000 television households.
WRCX is owned by the Ross Communications Group, is seen on ch. 40 and is carried by Time Warner Cable on ch. 22.
"We are delighted to announce our new affiliation with WRCX-TV, and pleased that we will be extending our programming lineup to the Dayton market," said Steve Friedman, president, network distribution, Ion Media Networks.
"The affiliation with Ion Television is exciting for the station and the community," said Glen "Skip" Ross, president-GM of WRCX. "The new affiliation will allow WRCX-TV to expand its programming, while remaining Dayton's television destination for 'urban' programming choices."
