ABC TV Group Promotes Two in HR
Dianne DeSevo and Tonya Dobine, human Resources executives for Disney-ABC Television Group on the East and West coasts, respectively, have each been promoted to positions as vice president, human resources business partner. The promotions, effective immediately, were announced today by Jeffrey Rosen, senior vice president, human resources, Disney-ABC Television Group, to whom DeSevo and Dobine report.
DeSevo's expanded role encompasses ABC News, ABC Television Network Sales, Broadcast Operations & Engineering and Hyperion. She will continue to be based at Disney-ABC Television Group offices in New York.
She joined the Company in 2004 as director of human resources.
She earned a BA degree from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., and Human Resources Management Development Certification from Cornell University in New York.
Dobine's expanded role encompasses ABC Family, Disney-ABC Domestic Television, Disney-ABC International Television, Cable Networks Group Business & Legal Affairs, Disney Media Ad Sales & Marketing, Disney Channel Worldwide, Affiliate Relations, and Media Networks in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. She will continue to be based at Disney-ABC Television Group offices in Burbank, Calif.
During her 11 years with the Company, Ms. Dobine has advanced through various positions of expanded responsibility including recruiter; human resources representative; senior human resources representative; manager, human resources; and director, human resources business partner.
She holds a BA degree in psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and is a graduate of the Executive Leadership Development Program, sponsored by the National Association of Multi-Ethnicity in Communications and UCLA's Anderson Graduate School of Management.
