Liberman Buys Phoenix LPTV for $1.3M

Spanish-language broadcaster Liberman Broadcasting is expanding into the Phoenix market, agreeing to purchase KVPA-LP there for $1,250,000, according to an FCC filing seeking approval of the deal.

The seller is Latin American Broadcasting of Arizona Inc.. It's based in Buena Park, Calif., and headed by C. Wesly Burd, president

Liberman, headed by Lenard Liberman, also owns KRCA Los Angeles, KSDX-LP San Diego, KMPX Dallas, KZJL Houston and strings of radio stations in California and Texas.
