Universal TV Expands Business Affairs Department
The Universal Television Group, a division of NBC Universal, today announced the promotion of two business affairs executives and the expansion of its ranks.
Pam Schechter and Crissy Thomas-Taylor both were promoted to vice president and Rafael Gomez-Cabrera and Rajal Lele join the group as directors. The announcement was made by Beth Roberts, executive vice president, cable entertainment business affairs, digital and new business development, to whom they report.
Schechter will continue to be the business affairs executive handling digital entertainment for the group as well as other NBC Universal divisions. Thomas-Taylor oversees brand integration and product placement for Bravo, Oxygen, Sci Fi, USA Network and the NBC Universal Digital Studio, in addition to negotiating program and talent deals. Gomez-Cabrera will support the digital and cable entertainment groups, while Lele will primarily be supporting Oxygen.
