Fox O&O WFLD Chicago is about to debut a free dating site, "YourDatingSpot," on its Web site, MyFoxChicago.com.

Currently, interested users can enter their profile by supplying some basic information. They also are able to upload videos or photos with their profile.

The site is expected to go live on Sept. 15, at which time people can start searching profiles and begin dating.

Once the search function goes live, search features allow users to type in "quick question" criteria to find other singles that share their interests, such as: Cubs fan or Sox fan? Deep Dish or Thin Crust? Granola or Caviar?

There is also an advanced feature that allows users to search for other potential daters by things such as city, ZIP code, age and height.

When users find another single that they would like to date, they can show interest in them by clicking the "Date Me" button. A message will be sent to them accompanied by a personal e-mail and a profile link.  If the person is interested in dating, they can contact the individual that inquired after them via e-mail.

Similar sites are already up and running on Fox O&Os in Phoenix (KSAZ), which has more than 20,000 profiles (it launched last year); Detroit (WJBK), which has around 6,000 profiles (launched a few weeks ago); and Orlando, Fla. (WOFL), which has around 4,000 (launched a few weeks ago).
