1. What is a podcast?

   A podcast is an audio file that you can listen to your computer or download to your portable MP3 player for listening on-the-go.

2. How can I receive the TVNewsday podcasts?

   To receive the TVNewsday podcasts, you must first download and install podcasting software. We recommend iTunes, available for free at http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/.

   

   After downloading and installing iTunes, run the program and click on 'Advanced' on the top menu bar. Choose the item that says "Subscribe to Podcast..." That opens a window that asks for a URL. Into the window, paste this URL:

   http://podcast.tvnewsday.com/rss/rss.xml

   Click OK. The software will automatically download every podcast that appears on TVNewsday to the iTunes program where you can listen to it immediately or download it to your iPod or other MP3 player.
